Never. The extension only adds a visual lock layer on top of WhatsApp Web. There are no servers, no analytics and no message access — everything (settings, PIN hashes) lives in your browser's local storage.

After 3 wrong attempts the lock screen freezes with a cooldown timer. The popup's Master PIN gets 5 attempts before a 60-second lockout. PINs are never stored in plain text — only salted PBKDF2 hashes.
